Top Level is for players that enjoy the training and hard work it takes to play the game with and against other high level players. Top Level believes that for the best opportunity for a players development, is having an environment in which they are surrounded by other players who work just as hard or harder, who have a drive to play the game at their highest possible level.
Top Level offers programs not only for players on Top Level Travel Ball teams but also Open Workouts for other players to join.

OUR STORY
Top Level was started by Eric Beckerman and Zach Smith in the Summer of 2021. Coach Beckerman started Los Angeles Xtreme, a very successful Travel Ball Academy for over 7 years out of the Westchester/Manhattan Beach area producing some of the top travel ball teams in the entire country.
Many of the LA Xtreme players are now D1 at Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Stanford, UCLA, USC, UCSD, Fresno, Boston College, Oregon, NYU, Cal Lutheran, UC Irvine, etc, etc. In 2019 Coach Beckerman was offered the Varsity Head Coaching Position at Crossroads High School in Santa Monica. Coach Beckerman made a difficult decision to license LA Xtreme and start a brand new Academy out of the Santa Monica area.
The debut of Top Level was delayed a few year due to Covid. Once it opened up in the summer of 2021, Top Level debuted to huge groups looking to train. Initially Top Level was not going to offer teams, however, due to the requests, Top Level introduced 4 teams. Four years later Top Level has grown to over 20 teams ranging from ages 8/9U to High School 18U Seniors.

THE FOUNDERS
Co-Owner Top Level/Crossroads High School Varsity Head Coach
Eric’s Travel Ball & High School coaching accolades is like no other, including bringing four teams to Cooperstown with incredibly all four making the Championship Game (3 Championships, 1 Runner Up). He has also coached Championship Teams in Omaha Triple Crown World Series, USSSA Florida Super NIT, Team USA North Carolina Select 30 Championships & even in Little League to the California State Championships. In 2020, Coach Beckerman was hired to take over a struggling Crossroads High School Program and in his first year, led the school to an 8-0 start, the best start in the school’s recorded history. The 2020 Season ended up being cut short due to Covid, however, Coach Beckerman was able to continue the turnaround in 2021, as Crossroads made CIF Playoffs for the first time in 12 years and followed that up in 2022, making Playoffs in back-to-back years, the first time in the school’s history of the Gold Coast League. Coach Beckerman speacilty is with Hitting, High Energy Practices and teaching Baseball IQ. Nobody develops players better than Coach Beckerman with many of his Travel Ball players now achieving tremendous success throughout many of Southern California’s top High School baseball programs.

Zach is one of the most sought out private pitching instructors any where, garnering as much as $300/Hour during In-Season Training. Coach Zach was a major part of the Crossroads rebuilding success. Coach Zach has trained alongside MLB pitching coaches & is certified in biomechanics. He is currently pitching instructor for MLB, MiLB, High School & Elite Travel Ball pitchers looking to get drafted and/or play Collegiately. Coach Zach will head all of the Top Level Pitching Programs including the Velo Workouts, Arm Care & Recovery, Bullpens, Pitching Video & Data Analysis. Players at Top Level have a chance to access to Coach Zach for as little as $35 for a Bullpen or Velo Group Workout.
